Consumer Unit Upgrades in Oldham

Consumer Unit Upgrades in Oldham

We carry out consumer unit upgrades across Oldham (OL1, OL4, OL8) most weeks. Being based just 4 miles up the road in Shaw means we can usually offer same-day or next-day appointments in Oldham.

Your consumer unit (fuse board) is the heart of your home's electrical system. If yours still has rewireable fuses or no RCD protection, it may not protect you properly against electric shock or electrical fire.

We supply and fit modern metal consumer units, check the earthing and bonding, test every circuit and issue the certification. In most cases the power is only off for a few hours.

What's included

• Metal-cased consumer units to current BS 7671 standards
• RCD and RCBO protection on every circuit
• Surge protection devices (SPDs) available
• Main bonding checked and upgraded where required
• Most units swapped and certified in half a day
• All work tested, labelled and certified
