Consumer Unit Upgrades in Stockport

Consumer Unit Upgrades in Stockport

When Stockport homeowners need consumer unit upgrades, we get the call. Our base in Shaw is only 13 miles from Stockport, so a visit costs you nothing extra in travel and a quote costs you nothing at all.

Your consumer unit (fuse board) is the heart of your home's electrical system. If yours still has rewireable fuses or no RCD protection, it may not protect you properly against electric shock or electrical fire.

We supply and fit modern metal consumer units, check the earthing and bonding, test every circuit and issue the certification. In most cases the power is only off for a few hours.

What's included

• Metal-cased consumer units to current BS 7671 standards
• RCD and RCBO protection on every circuit
• Surge protection devices (SPDs) available
• Main bonding checked and upgraded where required
• Most units swapped and certified in half a day
• All work tested, labelled and certified
